Work plan for 1999

During the general meeting in Kavala (18-20/11/1998), the partners of the Medits programme have defined the main milestones of their work for 1999. The first one is to conduct the Medits 99 survey, following the work programme presented in the « Declaration of participation » signed by the main co-ordinators. This survey will be managed using the same protocols as for the Medits ‘98 survey. The group also intends to progress towards the development of the common data analysis in view of the final report. That’s why a working group will be organized during the spring 1999 to develop common analyses taking into account the full series available (1994-1998).

The group also intends to present new projects in answer to the next EC-DGXIV call of proposals to manage the continuation of the programme in 2000.
